Website terms of use

The rules for using mydriveshield.com.au. They sit alongside the product terms for any cover you buy.

1. About these terms

This website, mydriveshield.com.au, is operated by MyDriveShield, a trading name of Capital Gateway Pty Ltd (ABN 36 667 087 685) ("we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

2. Information only, not advice

The website gives factual information about extended vehicle warranty and roadside assistance products, and lets you get a price and buy online. We don't give general or personal financial product advice, or insurance or legal advice, and nothing on the website is a recommendation that a product suits you. Read the product terms and decide for yourself, or get independent advice.

3. Products and who provides them

MyDriveShield is a trading name of Capital Gateway Pty Ltd (ABN 36 667 087 685), Authorised Representative No. 001323971 of Integrity Car Care Pty Ltd (ABN 58 056 621 893, AFSL 247069). We act on Integrity's behalf under that authorisation, and Integrity is responsible for the services we provide as its Authorised Representative.

Warranty products are issued by Integrity Car Care Pty Ltd (ABN 58 056 621 893, AFSL 247069). The terms of your cover are set out in the product terms and the schedule Integrity issues, not on this website. If anything on the website differs from the product terms, the product terms apply.

Cover is subject to eligibility and to acceptance by the provider. Paying does not by itself start your cover. Your cover is in place from the start date on your schedule.

4. Prices and payment

5. Your information

You must give us accurate information about yourself and your vehicle. Inaccurate information can mean your cover is cancelled or a claim is refused under the product terms. We handle your personal information under our Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund rights are set out in the product terms. For example, under the Integrity warranty terms you can cancel within 30 days for a full refund if no claim has been paid. See our FAQ for a summary.

7. Using the website

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.

9. Complaints

See our Complaints page.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the website. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
